Remarcable is purpose-built for trade contractors, helping them manage procurement, tools, and warehouse operations with unmatched visibility and control. Remarcable As we scale across North America, data is at the core of how we deliver on that promise.
As our Data Engineer, you'll build and maintain the AWS Lakehouse infrastructure, ELT pipelines, and data models that power decisions across our product, operations, and leadership teams. You'll also build the AI/ML data infrastructure that drives the next generation of Remarcable's intelligent features — work that will be felt by contractors and back-office teams alike.
This is a high-ownership role for someone who loves clean data architecture and wants their work to directly shape a product transforming the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain scalable ELT pipelines and AWS Lakehouse infrastructure (S3, Redshift, Athena, Glue) to deliver reliable data across the organization
Design multi-layer data architecture and dbt transformation models that produce clean, well-documented datasets
Enforce data quality, governance, and security standards including PII handling using AWS Lake Formation and IAM policies
Own pipelines for core SaaS metrics including ARR, churn, NRR, and product usage
Build AI/ML data infrastructure including feature stores, training datasets, and embedding pipelines supporting SageMaker and Bedrock workflows
Who You Are
3+ years of experience in a Data Engineering or similar role (Analytics Engineer, Backend Engineer with data focus).
Strong SQL skills — complex queries, window functions, performance tuning.
Experience building and maintaining ELT/ETL pipelines in production.
Proficiency in Python for data engineering tasks (scripting, pipeline logic, tooling).
Hands-on experience with a modern cloud data warehouse
