Information processed

• Account identity, authentication records, and active sessions.
• Quiz answers and an email address when you submit the funnel; anonymous marketing consent remains pending until you confirm a one-time email link.
• Saved searches, alert settings, and your private job activity.
• Stripe customer, checkout, invoice, and subscription identifiers and statuses. Full payment-card details are handled by Stripe, not stored in this application database.
• Email subscription status and a one-way unsubscribe-token hash. Alert retries retain only structured job and batch identifiers; recipient copies, rendered email bodies, and bearer unsubscribe tokens are generated only when an email is sent and are not stored in alert-run records.
• Security counters keyed by one-way hashes, plus ordinary infrastructure logs needed to operate and protect the service.

Optional product analytics

Product analytics are disabled on this deployment. When enabled, only allowlisted event names and bounded categorical properties are accepted; free text, page URLs, search queries, and email addresses are rejected. Analytics begin only after you choose Allow in the analytics notice. A random browser identifier is not linked to your account. You can withdraw that choice from “Analytics choices” in the site footer. Events expire after 30 days.

Purposes and service providers

Information is used to authenticate users, provide searches and alerts, maintain job activity, process membership, prevent abuse, support users, and improve reliability. Relevant data may be processed by hosting and database vendors, configured authentication providers, Stripe for billing, and Resend for transactional or opted-in email.

External job sites

Following an application link sends you to an employer or job provider. Their privacy terms apply after you leave Remote Work. Alert emails use internal job-detail links so the external destination is not disclosed in the email.

Retention and controls

Account data is retained while the account is active and removed through the deletion flow, except records that must be retained for security, billing, dispute, or legal obligations. You can export your account, delete it, manage billing, and change email preferences from account settings. Unverified, unclaimed quiz submissions expire 30 days after the latest submission. An email-confirmed but unclaimed submission expires after 365 days; you can also securely export or delete anonymous quiz data after verifying control of the submitted email. Essential session and anti-abuse storage is used to keep the service secure. Completed and terminal alert-delivery records, including their structured job identifiers, expire after 30 days. Retry-only batch identifiers are cleared immediately when a run succeeds or reaches its final failed attempt.
