Seeking Experienced Cloud Architects (AWS) for Exciting Remote Projects in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico
We are looking for skilled Cloud Architects with a minimum of 8 years of experience to join a dynamic team within a leading global organization. This role involves designing, building, automating, and optimizing cloud solutions on AWS, with a strong focus on infrastructure as code, cloud security, automation, observability, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement AWS-native cloud architectures following best practices.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Terragrunt, or OpenTofu.
- Develop and optimize cloud automation workflows for provisioning, de-provisioning, and auditing cloud resources.
- Create API-driven orchestration and automation solutions using Python or Node.js.
- Integrate cloud services with ServiceNow and enterprise platforms.
- Design secure and scalable AWS networking solutions, including VPCs, Transit Gateway, and Route53.
- Analyze operational data using SQL to identify automation opportunities and reduce manual effort.
- Implement observability and monitoring solutions using Datadog.
- Ensure compliance, governance, and audit requirements are met, including SOX-related controls.
Technical Skills Required:
With over 8 years of experience as a Cloud Architect, you must be proficient in the following technical skills:
- Strong hands-on expertise with AWS Cloud Services and Architecture Design.
- Experience with AWS-native services including IAM, Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, and multi-account strategies.
- Advanced knowledge of Terraform, Terragrunt, or OpenTofu.
- Strong AWS networking experience including VPC, Transit Gateway, Route53, and secure connectivity patterns.
- Experience with Datadog for observability, monitoring, logs, metrics, and traces.
- Proficiency in Python or Node.js for automation, orchestration, and API integrations.
- Experience integrating and automating workflows with ServiceNow.
- Knowledge of cloud security, compliance, governance, and audit frameworks (SOX preferred).
- Strong SQL skills for data analysis and process optimization.
- Experience building event-driven and API-based automation solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Fluent in English (Advanced Level C1 - C2).
- Strong communication, empathy, leadership, commitment, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
