Recruiter
Middesk
The role
Job description
About Middesk:
Middesk makes it easier for businesses to work together. Since 2018, we’ve been transforming business identity verification, replacing slow, manual processes with seamless access to complete, up-to-date data. Our platform helps companies across industries confidently verify business identities, onboard customers faster, and reduce risk at every stage of the customer lifecycle.
Middesk came out of Y Combinator, is backed by Sequoia Capital and Accel Partners, and was recently named to Forbes Fintech 50 List.
About The Role:
Middesk is looking for a tenacious and versatile full-cycle Recruiter to help shape our future. We’re building the business identity platform that accelerates the economy. Your role is to accelerate our growth by building exceptional teams.
You're a generalist who digs into the why behind a hiring plan, and who's comfortable moving across functions, from engineering to go-to-market. In this role, you will partner closely with hiring managers and their teams, acting as a trusted advisor to translate a business need into a full candidate pipeline - and ultimately to new hires who raise the bar for those around them.
Middesk has offices in SF and NYC. This is a hybrid role requiring 2+ days per week in our SF office.
What You'll Do:
Own the full recruiting lifecycle - sourcing, qualifying, and closing - across multiple concurrent searches spanning technical and go-to-market roles
Partner with hiring managers to define what great looks like, build structured interview processes, and sharpen how we position Middesk in a competitive talent market
Ensure a consistent, fair, and engaging candidate experience that demonstrates our values and why Middesk a great place to work
Help evolve our recruiting systems, tooling, and process as we scale
What We’re Looking For:
3+ years of in-house recruiting experience, preferably with exposure to both technical and business roles
Curiosity and the ability to quickly learn and credibly recruit new profiles of talent
High ownership and the drive to succeed in an ambitious, fast-paced environment
Communication and collaboration skills to earn trust with both hiring teams and candidates
Proactive use of the AI-enabled recruiting tech stack, with a focus on continuous improvement
Team-first mindset and a positive attitude; no task is too big or too small
Keep exploring
