Underground Electrician

Role Overview

As an Underground Electrician at Agnico Eagle, you will be part of the Energy and Infrastructure Department, ensuring the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct, and the environment.

What You Will Do

Complete work in accordance with standards, operating procedures and safety practices; conduct preventative maintenance programs on electrical equipment and record results and findings; test equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Red Seal certified electrician, electrical journeyman or equivalent; 5 years of experience as an underground electrician; clear understanding of lockouts and high voltage switching; good work ethic, a positive attitude and the ability to work in a team; experience working in a multicultural environment.

Requirements

• Red Seal certified electrician, electrical journeyman or equivalent
• 5 years of experience as an underground electrician
• Clear understanding of lockouts and high voltage switching
• Driver’s license Class 5 or equivalent
