Role Overview
As a systems engineer on our team, you will deliver products and services to government clients in the directed energy field. You will work on complex technical problems, provide highly innovative solutions, develop advanced technology ideas, and guide system development into a final product.
What You Will Do
You will apply knowledge of the systems engineering discipline across one or more components of the system development life cycle (SDLC), including concept development, technical planning, requirements development, system analysis, system design, integration, verification, transition, operations, obsolescence, and disposal.

You will need to demonstrate experience with the systems engineering (SE) process for system acquisitions, including systems engineering plans, system engineering technical reviews (SETRs), system certification processes, and specialty engineering activities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with performing SE for weapons systems
- 2+ years of experience in using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and MBSE tools in the development of architectures, requirements, and interfaces
- Experience with concept development, design and development of system architecture, systems hardware, and software design and development
- Experience generating SE requirements for artifacts such as System Requirements Documents (SRDs), Subsystem Requirements Documents (SSRDs), and Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
- Experience with risk management
- Knowledge of configuration management, program protection or cybersecurity, system safety, and SE certification processes
- Secret clearance
