Purpose of the Role
The Business Development Representative drives the early stages of the revenue pipeline by proactively capturing, qualifying, and developing leads for construction projects. This position emphasizes building strong relationships with developers, owners, and project stakeholders early in the process, generating high-quality, sales-ready opportunities for the sales team.
By transforming construction intelligence, project data, and cold call opportunities into steady pipeline growth, this role directly supports the company’s expansion in fitness and wellness-focused facilities
Key Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end lead capture and development process using construction data platforms, organic searches, and inbound leads.
Identify and qualify new construction projects featuring planned fitness or wellness amenities.
Initiate structured, value-driven outreach to engage decision-makers early in the project lifecycle, as well as those at existing fitness and wellness facilities, maximizing early influence and opportunity development.
Nurture prospects with a consistent multi-touch follow-up cadence until they are ready for sales engagement.
Transition qualified leads to the Sales team with comprehensive context, detailed notes, and warm introductions.
Maintain precise lead records, detailed activity logs, and up-to-date status updates in the CRM.
Collaborate closely with Sales and Operations teams to continuously improve lead quality and conversion rates.

A consistently growing, well-qualified pipeline of opportunities.
Rapid response to new leads (within 24 hours).
Achieve high engagement through structured outreach and persistent follow-up.
Seamless handoffs to Sales, including comprehensive project and contact details.
Clear visibility into all lead activities, statuses, and outcomes.
Required Skills
2–5+ years in business development, sales development, or lead generation.
Experience working with CRM systems and structured outreach processes.
Exceptional written communication skills and a consultative sales mindset.
Confident in engaging senior-level stakeholders, including directors, owners, and
project managers.
Highly organized and attentive to detail.
Self-starter who excels at building and refining processes.
Skilled at listening, asking thoughtful questions, and responding in a way that builds
trust and credibility
