The role
Job description
About us:
If you're searching for a remote role at a company that values its people as its greatest asset, respects work-life balance, and fosters a supportive environment for growth, HeroCoders could be the perfect fit for you.
At HeroCoders, we build powerful apps that help people work more efficiently.
As a Platinum Atlassian Partner, our tools are trusted by over 70,000 companies worldwide, with a few hundred thousand active users and a steady 33% annual growth rate. While we're proud of what we've achieved, there's still plenty of exciting work ahead. We’re a small, fully remote team of 20 people spread across the globe, and right now, we’re looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to join us.
Note:
This recruitment process will be conducted entirely in English.
You will be working with a team spread across the world. We require 4h overlap with typical CET/CEST business hours, which is 9 am - 4 pm.
Who are we looking for:
You’re a Software Developer with over 5+ years of professional experience, and you’ve spent at least 3 of those years working with React and NodeJS. You aim to write easy-to-maintain software. You like working in a self-managing team with autonomy and a proactive problem-solving approach.
Minimal requirements:
- You are an expert in React.
- You are experienced in developing Atlassian Ecosystem add-ons (Atlassian Forge preferred).
You’re a perfect match if:
- You have professional experience with NodeJS and Typescript.
- You explore and work with AI tools on a daily basis.
- You care about how customers actually use what you build, and you validate your work accordingly (including testing your ideas to ensure they behave as intended in practice).
- You own delivery: you make “done” clear for your changes, use observability to surface issues early, and help keep the service healthy for customers.
- You push quality left in a practical way: automated tests where they add the most value, fast feedback in CI, and PR review that include sanity-checking real user flows when the change warrants it - not just reviewing diffs.
- You work well as part of a team: you help others, pitch in on reviews and support, ask for help when needed, and share knowledge with teammates and the wider company.
- You have good communication skills in English
Bonus points for having:
- Experience with Atlassian Forge
- Production experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Product-oriented mindset
- Cooperating with Product Manager and Support Team
What we can offer you
- Long-term B2B contract with salary: 34k-38k PLN net + VAT/month or 110k-122k USD annually
- 33 days of paid annual leave
- Completely remote position
- Control over your professional development
- Annual retreat to spend quality time together
- One-week-long hackathon event each quarter
- Being part of a small, growing company and participating in business decisions
- You’re free to work with the AI tools you prefer (Our teams currently use Cursor, Claude Code, and OpenAI).
