CHECK Certified Penetration Testers (All Levels) - UK remote - £50k-£110k+

Opus has partnered with a leading consultancy with an established offensive security team, renowned for delivering exceptional CHECK penetration testing engagements across high assurance environments. This organisation is trusted by government, defense, and enterprise clients to secure their most critical systems.

The Role

We are seeking CHECK certified penetration testers at all levels (CTM, CTL, and equivalent) to join this elite team. Youll be working on complex, high profile projects where your expertise will directly contribute to protecting national infrastructure and sensitive environments.

Main responsibilities:

• Deliver CHECK penetration testing engagements across government, defense, and regulated industries.
• Perform technical assessments covering infrastructure, applications, cloud, and bespoke systems.
• Produce clear, actionable reports with tailored remediation guidance.
• Collaborate with senior consultants and offensive security specialists on advanced projects.
• Research emerging threats and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
• Mentor junior testers (for senior roles).

Requirements

• CHECK certification (CTM or CTL).
• Strong technical background in penetration testing, red teaming, or exploit development.
• Experience in high assurance environments (government, defense, or regulated sectors).
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote UK setup.
