Tax Accountant

Remote Recruitment is hiring a Tax Accountant for our UK-based clients. This is a fully remote position offering South African professionals an excellent opportunity to work with leading UK employers from home. You will work UK business hours and join a supportive, fast-growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file corporation tax returns, VAT submissions and statutory tax filings
• Monitor tax legislation changes and advise management on their impact
• Liaise directly with HMRC and other tax authorities on queries and investigations
• Prepare detailed tax provisions, deferred tax calculations and supporting schedules
• Support the year-end audit process with comprehensive tax workings and documentation
• Identify and implement tax planning opportunities to optimise the group tax position

Requirements

• 4+ years of tax accounting experience in practice or industry
• ATT, CTA, ACA or ACCA qualification is preferred or studying towards
• Strong knowledge of UK corporation tax and VAT legislation
• Excellent analytical skills and high accuracy in preparing complex tax calculations
• Able to communicate technical tax matters clearly to non-specialist stakeholders
