Position Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Development Manager to lead strategic growth initiatives for Native in Singapore and globally. This senior-level role is instrumental in shaping Native's trajectory by identifying high-impact business opportunities, fostering key strategic partnerships, and spearheading market expansion efforts. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the DeFi ecosystem, a robust industry network, and a proven track record of driving results in fintech or blockchain business development.
Job Responsibilities
Define and execute high-level strategies to expand Native’s market presence, including identifying new business opportunities, assessing market trends, and creating long-term value for the company.
- Build and nurture strategic relationships with DeFi protocols, dApp developers, financial institutions, and other key stakeholders to enhance Native's ecosystem.
- Spearhead Native’s entry into new markets by crafting and implementing tailored go-to-market strategies for diverse regions and market segments.
- Lead high-value deal negotiations, close strategic partnerships, and drive sustained revenue growth through innovative business approaches.
- Establish and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients, delivering solutions that align with their goals and Native’s value proposition.
- Work closely with product, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure alignment between business development objectives and product offerings, ensuring market demand is met effectively.
- Represent Native as a thought leader at industry events, conferences, and other public forums, solidifying the company’s position as a leader in the DeFi space.
- Contribute to the creation of compelling content to enhance brand awareness and establish Native as a go-to authority in liquidity infrastructure.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- 5-8+ years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Extensive experience in the fintech, blockchain, or DeFi industry, with a proven ability to close high-value deals and foster long-term partnerships.
- Deep understanding of blockchain technology, the DeFi ecosystem, and liquidity infrastructure, paired with a strong professional network in the space.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement high-impact business strategies.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, driving collaborative success.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a results-oriented approach.
Ability to adapt to fast-paced, evolving environments while managing multiple priorities effectively.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide teams toward achieving business goals. - Strong communication skills and fluent in English.
