DeFi Product Owner (Mandarin Speaking)

The role

Job description

Core Positioning
  • Technical Product Manager (Technical PM): Possesses an engineering background and can translate protocol/infrastructure complexity into clear product requirements and a seamless user experience.
  • Experience: 3–5+ years of DeFi product experience, with a track record of building products from 0 to 1 (startup or core team experience preferred; well-known EVM DeFi project experience is a plus).
Technical Capabilities
  • Deep understanding of on-chain mechanisms: Account models, transaction patterns, RPC/indexer reliability, caching, and cross-chain workflows.
  • Familiarity with wallet and core DeFi scenarios: Self-custodial wallets, swaps, staking, lending, yield, and token standards.
  • Technical background: Full-stack or backend development foundation (React, Node, API, cloud architecture) to enable peer-to-peer technical dialogue with the engineering team.
  • Bonus points: Participation in setting protocol standards (e.g., EIP proposals) or hands-on experience with OAuth/SDK integration.
Business & Product Experience
  • Experience building C-end consumer-grade crypto products combined with ecosystem-focused products (onboarding, points/incentive systems, app discovery, partner integrations).
  • Proven, quantifiable track record in user growth or ecosystem integration.
  • Cross-functional collaboration experience across Engineering, Design, Data, and Ecosystem/BD teams.
Soft Skills & Qualities
  • Strong sense of ownership and the ability to drive initiatives independently in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Fluent in both Chinese and English (for team and ecosystem communication).
  • A strong, smart-contract-first mindset regarding on-chain security.
