About A1
There are over 5 billion users using basic applications today such email, notes, tasks that are not AI-native. Our mission is to build a proactive smart assistant for everyday users to bring intelligence to conversations, errands, organising and workflows, with minimal prompting.
Our product focuses on achieving high reliability for long-running workflows, persistent context, and real-world task completion. The system must handle multi-step reasoning, interact with external tools, and remain reliable despite non-deterministic model behavior. Our objective is to help users complete tasks daily enjoyable with over ~90%* reduced time.
About the Role
You will support end-to-end recruiting for A1’s product, engineering, and business roles.
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role. You will work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to keep hiring moving smoothly and accurately. It’s a good fit for someone early in their career who wants to learn how high-quality technical hiring actually works in practice.
What you will be doing
Support the full recruitment process across roles, from sourcing and screening to interview coordination and offer support.
Source candidates through a mix of channels, including LinkedIn, referrals, job boards, and proactive outreach.
Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate screens to assess basic role fit, motivation, and communication.
Coordinate interviews, scheduling, and feedback collection with candidates and hiring managers.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the ATS, ensuring data quality and process consistency.
Support recruiting projects and process improvements as the team scales, including candidate experience and employer branding initiatives.
Help keep hiring operations organised, responsive, and moving at pace.
What you will need
0–2 years of experience in recruiting, HR, operations, coordination, or related roles (fresh graduates with a strong interest in recruiting are welcome).
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Comfort working with tools such as Google Sheets / Excel and basic ATS systems.
A proactive, learning-oriented mindset and openness to feedback.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through reliably.
(Prior recruiting experience is helpful but not required. Attitude, curiosity, and execution matter more.)
