The role
Job description
As a Bookkeeper at Online River LLC, your primary responsibility will be to maintain accurate financial records for our organization
You will be responsible for recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and monitoring financial data.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in US bookkeeping practices and proficiency in QuickBooks, a leading ERP software. This role will be responsible for accurately recording financial transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and generating financial reports.
The coverage begins for the employee the on the first of the month following the first full 30 days of full-time employment for employees and their eligible dependents
Cost to the employee to participate in the plan varies by the coverage selection and the number of dependents; and may be subject to collective bargaining agreement
The employee may also elect to opt out of the County's medical insurance if proof of coverage is provided
Under this arrangement, the employee is provided with an annual opt out payment.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and update financial records and statements
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Generate financial reports and assist with budgeting
- Track and manage inventory and supply expenses
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Track payroll data in excel and ensure safe keeping of all confidential information.
- Reconcile and maintain clean schedules related to vehicle sales.
- Fact checking accounting data.
- Accounts payable, bookkeeping, cash receipt and check cutting when needed.
- Cross training with staff to learn other accounting functions.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of financial regulations and procedures
- Associate degree in Accounting or related field
