Job description
DevOps Engineer - Electronics background required - Fully remote role - £460 per day inside IR35
My client, a leading AI business is seeking a fully remote DevOps Engineer with a background in electronics to to offer significant CI/CD expertise to their Engineering teams on a 3-6 month basis.
This is an engineering focused role to assist with deploying and maintaining CI systems using GitLab/Github, Jenkins or similar.
Candidates must have the following experince to be considered for the role:
- Python
- Cmake
- RTL/Electronics knowledge
Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyse metrics from operating systems as well as applications to assist in performance tuning and fault finding
- Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning
- Participate in automation initiatives to streamline processes, improve efficiencies and reduce hosting cost
- Meeting performance, availability, scalability, reliability, maintainability, and security SLAs.
- Work closely with Product Owner, Platform Team, Solution Architects and development teams for continuous improvement
- Enhance and drive automation and "Infrastructure as Code" delivery
