The role
Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- People motivator and manager
- Drive performance of team to achieve or exceed assigned quota
- Strong use of Salesforce and forecasting tools required
- Ability to develop trend data and force directional change as required based on metrics analysis
- Adopt and employ consistent business processes and timely reporting of outcomes
- Provide visibility and guidance on the performance and penetration of your assigned region
- Understand client business goals and define security solutions that support their requirements
- Fully utilize technical concepts to drive customer interaction (Webinars, Social media, lunch and learns, Demos)
- Work with the account teams to define security solutions to secure future business for MSI and retire individual quotas
- Target new logos and lead your sales teams efforts to penetrate prospect accounts
- Use MSI tools to incentivize and drive both selling and reporting behaviors
- Serve as the conduit between prospects, clients, and account teams to communicate essential requirements and product enhancements internally
- Expected travel is 50% of the time
Specific Knowledge & Skills:
- Seeking a Bachelor's Degree with 4+years experience in Cybersecurity sales OR 8+ years experience in Cybersecurity Sales
- Prior Sales Management experience
- Business acumen and understanding of contract types and funding sources
- Strong understanding of Cybersecurity, Cloud and SaaS technologies and competitive offerings in the marketplace
- Ability to explain complicated concepts to a variety of audiences and skill levels
- Demonstrated experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques
- Strong problem solving skills, ability to analyze complex multivariate problems and use a systematic approach to gain swift resolution
- Accurate forecasting and maintaining excellent Salesforce hygiene
- Manage multiple efforts simultaneously to drive towards regional goals
- Strong fundamental understanding of technical security solutions, services, compliance and how they address customer risk exposure and use cases.
- Strong fundamental understanding of how and why to elevate and evolve customer conversations above single immediate needs, to broader more strategic discussions leveraging consulting services
