About the Role
We’re seeking a Staff Product Designer to shape the creative and functional DNA of Dusk’s platform. As one of the first design leaders, you’ll define how the product looks, feels, and behaves — turning complex workflows into intuitive, visually elegant experiences. You’ll collaborate with founders, engineers, and customers to bring Dusk’s mission to life through design systems, prototypes, and production-ready interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
Lead design for core product surfaces
Define and evolve Dusk’s design language and component system
Conduct user research and translate insights into product direction
Build high-fidelity prototypes that communicate vision and drive alignment
Collaborate with engineers to ensure design quality from concept to release
Mentor other designers and help scale design culture across the company
Balance creativity with pragmatism - shipping high-impact, user-centered work
Qualifications
6+ years of product design experience, ideally in SaaS or creative tooling
Portfolio showcasing excellent interaction and visual design work
Fluency in Figma and modern prototyping tools
Strong grasp of UX principles, hierarchy, and system thinking
Proven track record leading 0→1 or platform-level design initiatives
Excellent communication skills and comfort presenting to stakeholders
Bonus: experience designing for creative pros, music, or entertainment products
