Systems Engineer Lead

Role Overview

Responsible for assisting Information Technology staff in the installation, maintenance, implementation, and continuous usage of mid-range and mainframe software and hardware platforms. Evaluates, recommends, and implements new system software products, product updates, and new releases.

What You Will Do

Maintains an inventory of products, current release level and all updates or local modifications. Provides documentation on general system operating procedures. Facilitates online documentation where possible to avoid hardcopy.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Provides education and counsel to users and IT personnel on the use and understanding of systems software. Serves as a liaison to vendor software support personnel as needed by IT personnel.
