Forward Deployed Engineer

Role Summary

KDCI Outsourcing is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with clients, embedding technical solutions into their environments. You'll bridge the gap between product and customer, customizing implementations to solve specific business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with clients to understand technical and business requirements

• Customize, configure, and deploy solutions within client environments

• Build integrations between the product and client systems

• Troubleshoot issues on-site (virtually or in person) and provide rapid fixes

• Gather client feedback and relay it to product and engineering teams

• Document deployment processes and best practices

Requirements

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a client-facing engineering or solutions role

• Strong software engineering fundamentals across at least one stack

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new environments

• Experience with APIs, integrations, and troubleshooting production systems

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in a startup or fast-paced client-deployment environment

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices

• Willingness to travel or work flexible hours across time zones
