Front End Angular Engineer
Greenfly
The role
Job description
Greenfly powers real-time digital media workflows for the world's biggest sports leagues, teams, and brands. Our platform moves photos and video from the field to athletes' and fans' feeds in seconds. We support high-volume media capture, organization, and distribution, for game day operations when latency and reliability actually matter.
We're looking for a Front-End Engineer to help build the web experience at the heart of that platform.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain features in our Angular web application using TypeScript, RxJS, and NgRx.
- Build reusable, responsive UI components that handle media-heavy, real-time workflows at scale.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and platform engineers to shape features from concept through launch, including the API contracts behind them.
- Embrace and advocate for standards and best practices to deliver high-performing web applications.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience building web interfaces.
- 3+ years with Angular and TypeScript, including strong command of RxJS and component-based architecture.
- Experience with NgRx or other state-management patterns.
- A track record of building and maintaining reusable UI component libraries with responsive design principles.
- Solid testing habits: unit tests and end-to-end tests as part of everyday development, including tests for AI-assisted changes.
- Strong eye for user-centered design and the ability to collaborate closely with designers.
- Clear communicator who can work independently and turn product goals into shipped features.
What Gets You Bonus Points
- You're naturally curious and empathetic, with a knack for putting yourself in the user's shoes.
- You're a team player, valuing collaboration over ego.
- You have experience working within and collaborating on design systems.
- You have experience with Angular Signals.
- You have some experience with React & Tailwind CSS.
About Our Work
At Greenfly, we're believers in the power of small, agile teams. We leverage our continuous deployment system to ship code with confidence. Team trust is critical, and learning is a journey we embark on together.
Ensuring a diverse and inclusive workplace where we learn from each other is core to Greenfly's values. We like candidates who are curious, enthusiastic, and have a generous spirit. We welcome people of different backgrounds, experiences, abilities and perspectives. We are an equal opportunity employer and a fun place to work. Come do the best work of your life at Greenfly.
