Job description
This is a remote position.
The Junior Developer will support senior engineers in building, testing, and maintaining software applications. This role is ideal for early-career developers looking to gain real-world experience in full-stack development, APIs, and modern software engineering practices. Key Responsibilities- Assist in building and maintaining web or backend applications.
- Write simple, clean, and functional code under supervision.
- Fix basic bugs and support feature development tasks.
- Work with senior developers to understand requirements and solutions.
- Participate in team meetings, stand-ups, and code reviews.
- Learn and apply coding standards and best practices.
- Support testing and documentation of software features.
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and product teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience (internships, bootcamps, or personal projects included).
- Basic understanding of programming concepts.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a technical environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong interest in software development and problem-solving.
