Legal Counsel - Insurance

About the Company:
Our Client is a leading insurance provider in Hong Kong, committed to delivering innovative insurance solutions and exceptional customer service. We are seeking a skilled Legal Counsel to join our dynamic team.



Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice on a wide range of insurance matters, including policy drafting, compliance, and claims management.
• Review and negotiate contracts related to insurance products and services.
• Ensure compliance with Hong Kong insurance regulations and relevant laws.
• Assist in the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support various business initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including underwriting, claims, and compliance teams.
• Manage external legal counsel when necessary.
• Support dispute resolution and litigation matters as required.

Qualifications:

• Qualified lawyer with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
• Significant experience in the insurance industry, with a strong understanding of insurance laws and regulations in Hong Kong.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus.
