About the Company:
Our Client is a leading insurance provider in Hong Kong, committed to delivering innovative insurance solutions and exceptional customer service. We are seeking a skilled Legal Counsel to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice on a wide range of insurance matters, including policy drafting, compliance, and claims management.
- Review and negotiate contracts related to insurance products and services.
- Ensure compliance with Hong Kong insurance regulations and relevant laws.
- Assist in the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support various business initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including underwriting, claims, and compliance teams.
- Manage external legal counsel when necessary.
- Support dispute resolution and litigation matters as required.
Qualifications:
- Qualified lawyer with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
- Significant experience in the insurance industry, with a strong understanding of insurance laws and regulations in Hong Kong.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus.
