The role

Job description

This is a remote position.

  • Preparing and entering data for medical billing processes
  • Retrieving medical records for insurance claims and adjustments
  • Assisting with various ad-hoc tasks as needed
  • Managing inbound and outbound calls (fewer than 20 daily)

Requirements

  • Familiarity with ICD-10 codes or a relevant medical background (educational or professional)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Adaptability to new systems and software
  • Commitment to confidentiality when handling sensitive patient information
  • Comfort with both inbound and outbound calls
Technical Requirements:
  • Computer with at least an Intel i5 or Ryzen 3 processor and 8GB RAM
  • Dual monitors
  • Functional camera for video meetings
  • Noise-canceling headphones with a microphone
