About JerseySTEM
All JerseySTEM roles are pro-bono (unpaid) [link removed] is a mission-driven professional network of pro-bono contributors dedicated to improving access to STEM education and career pathways for underserved middle school girls in New Jersey.
Members contribute their professional skills and leverage their networks in service of the organization’s gender-equity [link removed] is a minimum six-month commitment of approximately six flexible hours per week and includes a $100 refundable deposit, returned after six months of active membership. K–12 educators, retirees, veterans, interns, and students are exempt from the deposit.

This is a pro-bono volunteer position.
JerseySTEM is seeking an experienced Email Marketing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our mission to provide STEM education to underserved middle school girls by effectively managing our email marketing campaigns. Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and optimize email marketing campaigns to engage our audience and drive desired actions.
Develop captivating and relevant email content, including copywriting and design, to ensure messages resonate with recipients.
Implement audience segmentation strategies to deliver personalized and targeted email campaigns.
Conduct A/B tests on various email elements to refine content and increase campaign effectiveness.
Utilize email marketing analytics tools to track and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven improvements.
Oversee email list management, including maintenance, growth, and segmentation.
Implement email marketing automation workflows to streamline processes and enhance engagement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content creators, designers, and developers, to execute email campaigns successfully.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Proven experience in managing email marketing campaigns and using email marketing platforms.
Strong writing and copywriting skills with an understanding of email content optimization.
Familiarity with email marketing analytics and reporting tools.
Knowledge of email marketing best practices, including audience segmentation and A/B testing.
Creative mindset and ability to create compelling email designs and layouts.
Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple email campaigns simultaneously.
