Job Title: Java Developer
Location: 1-Day per month onsite (Norfolk Naval Shipyard, VA)
Certifications: CompTIA Security+ CE (Required)
Clearance Required: Active Secret Clearance (Required)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Java Software Developer to join our team in delivering secure, high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, experience with modern IDEs, and the ability to work with SQL and DevOps tools in a collaborative environment.
Required Skills and Experience:
3–5+ years’ experience developing software with Java 8.0 or higher
3–5+ years’ experience using Java Server Pages (JSF)
3–5+ years’ experience developing with JavaScript
3+ years’ experience using NetBeans IDE (8.0–11.0) or Eclipse
Strong ability to write and read SQL code
Experience using GIT in Azure DevOps, including generating PBIs, Bugs, and Tasks
Experience creating Adobe PDF templates
Familiarity with databases and general database design principles
Optional / Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with CA-GEN servers and CABs on Z/OS
- Skilled in using Struts 1.0 and JSF, with the ability to convert STRUTS to JSF Framework
