Job description
Compound Planning, a leading fintech investment advisory firm, is seeking a detail-oriented Operations Associate to join our operations team. The Operations Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of daily operations, supporting both client services and internal processes. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for financial services.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the processing of client transactions, including account openings, transfers, and withdrawals, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Support the reconciliation of client accounts and investment transactions to maintain accurate records.
Partner closely with Wealth Management Associates and Operational Associates to unblock work and reduce operational friction for advisors and clients.
Maintain and update internal databases and systems to ensure accurate and timely information flow.
Conduct regular audits of operational processes to identify areas for improvement and enhance efficiency.
Maintain accurate documentation and updates in internal systems and tracking tools.
Prepare and generate reports on operational metrics, client activity, and performance.
Assist in the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures.
Support the onboarding of new clients and investment products by coordinating with various departments.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field preferred.
Previous experience in operations or administration, preferably within the financial services industry.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in Google Suite; experience with investment management software is a plus.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Knowledge of investment products and regulatory requirements is an advantage.
