Job Title: People and Culture Coordinator (Part-Time, Temporary Resource 20 hours/week)
Location: Remote
Reports to: Chief People & Diversity Officer Works closely with Senior Director, People Operations & Quality to execute responsibilities)

WHAT YOU’LL DO
The People and Culture Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the People and Culture team across the employee lifecycle. This role assists with recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee communications, operations, and special projects while helping foster a positive employee experience. The Coordinator serves as a key resource for employees and helps ensure the efficient delivery of People and Culture programs and services.
Generate and distribute standard reports, including employee census, company property, new hire, and other workforce reports
Support full-cycle recruitment activities, including posting job openings, coordinating interviews, communicating with candidates, and initiating background checks
Assist with new hire onboarding and orientation to help ensure a positive employee experience
Coordinate meetings, conference calls, webinars, and other team activities, as requested
Record meeting minutes and document key decisions and action items
Support benefits administration by coordinating with benefit and retirement plan vendors and helping ensure employees receive timely and accurate information
Assist in the maintenance of the organizational chart and publish updates to Kidney Hub
Prepare routine Human Resources correspondence, including offer letters, employment verification requests, background and reference checks, and other employment-related documentation, as requested
Assist in processing department check requests, agreements, invoices, and credit card expense reports in accordance with organizational policies
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure personnel documentation is properly filed and uploaded into ADP Workforce Now
Assist in responding to employee inquiries through the shared People and Culture inbox, providing timely, professional, and customer-focused support
Assist in coordinating employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and other People and Culture initiatives
Support special projects and departmental initiatives as assigned
Perform other duties as assigned
WHO YOU ARE
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum of two to three (2–3) years of related People and Culture experience
Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) preferred
Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information
Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
Knowledge of human resources principles, employment practices, and applicable employment laws is preferred
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

WORKING CONDITIONS, EQUIPMENT USED AND SPECIAL INFORMATION
Must have unimpeachable integrity and trustworthiness while possessing a high degree of tact, discretion, and professionalism. Verbal and written communication skills will be used daily. Maintain effectiveness under pressure. Competency in use of a telephone, fax machine, computer, photocopier, and other standard office equipment. Flexible to work evenings and weekends as needed.
