Portuguese Translator with legal background

We are seeking aPortuguese‑speaking Contract Lawyerwith around three years of legal experience. The ideal candidate must have hands‑on experience inInvestigations, Compliance, Financial Services, and/or Insurance. This role involves reviewing legal documentation, supporting regulatory processes, and assisting with risk‑related matters.

• Review and analyze contracts and legal documents in Portuguese and English.
  
• Support investigations by reviewing evidence, identifying risk issues, and summarizing findings.
  
• Assist Compliance teams with regulatory research, policy reviews, and risk assessments.
  
• Provide legal support on matters related toFinancial Services and Insurance, ensuring alignment with applicable regulations.
  
• Work cross‑functionally with legal, compliance, risk, and business teams to support ongoing matters.
  
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality and data‑protection standards.
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Law degree (LLB/JD) with Portuguese language skills (Brazilian).
  
• Approximately 3 years of legal experience.
  
• Demonstrated experience inInvestigations / Compliance / Financial Services / Insurance.
  
• Strong written and verbal proficiency inPortuguese and English.
  
• Ability to provide clear legal analysis and identify risk areas.
