We are looking for a meticulous and dedicated QA Engineer to join our team and ensure the highest quality of our software products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents related to AR/VR applications to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases specifically for immersive AR/VR environments and 3D workflows
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities for interactive simulations, VR training modules, and AR-enabled solutions
- Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source and AR/VR testing tools (e.g., Unity Test Framework, Unreal Automation, XR Interaction Testing)
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs across multi-platform AR/VR applications (head-mounted displays, mobile AR, desktop VR)
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved, ensuring seamless user experience in immersive environments
- Develop and apply specialized testing processes for interactive 3D content, VR/AR device compatibility, and performance optimization to meet client needs
- Liaise with internal teams (developers, 3D artists, product managers) to identify system requirements and potential technical constraints specific to AR/VR projects
- Monitor debugging process results across hardware (VR headsets, AR devices) and software platforms
- Investigate causes of non-conforming software, especially issues related to user interaction in virtual environments, and help stakeholders implement solutions
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a QA Engineer, preferably in AR/VR software development or interactive 3D applications
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, with an emphasis on testing immersive technologies
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and AR/VR-specific testing frameworks (e.g., Oculus/Meta Quest testing, Unreal Engine QA tools)
- Solid knowledge of 3D environments, XR interaction models, and debugging in Unity or Unreal Engine
- Familiarity with device-level testing for VR headsets (Oculus, Vive, Pico) and mobile AR platforms (ARKit, ARCore)
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to simulate and troubleshoot user interactions in virtual environments
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process, collaborating with cross-functional AR/VR production teams
