As a React Native Developer, you will be responsible for transforming user stories and project features into high-quality mobile applications using contemporary development practices and the most reliable tools. Collaboration with product managers and designers will be key to ensure solutions accurately address user needs. We are seeking developers with a passion for clean, well-organized coding practices, who are deeply invested in the sustainability and performance of the applications they create.
Responsibilities
- Participate in technical design and planning discussions
- Design and build advanced applications for the iOS/Android platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Provide timely and accurate estimates for project deliverables
- Hands-on troubleshooting, debugging and fixing of issues during development and post-release
- Implement features based on user stories and project requirements
What you bring
Experience:
- 3+ years of hybrid mobile development experience
- Proficient experience in React Native for iOS and Android
- Strong Software Development Kit (SDK) experience
- Proficient with SSO Integration like OAuth and SAML
- Experience with implementing and consuming REST APIs
- Experience with designing application architectures and concepts like unit testing, TDD, and continuous integration
- Strong understanding of project management tools such as Shortcut or JIRA
- Experience working with Agile principles
- Experience with Git for version control system such as GitHub
Must haves:
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and can clearly articulate your product decisions
- Detail oriented, resourceful, creative, and strong logical and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Passionate about testing, quality, technology, and excellence
Nice to Haves:
- Proficient experience in iOS - Swift
- Proficient experience in Android - Kotlin
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as React.js, Next.js, Vue.js
- Understanding of backend frameworks like Express, Node.js, NestJS, or Laravel etc.
- Experience working with SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) ans NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis, etc.)
Duration of the role
This is an hourly contractor position.
