Revenue Accounting Consultant – Product Launch & GTM Readiness

Role Overview

RGP is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant Consultant to help shape new product and GTM program launches. The role involves collaborating with the New Business Opportunities team to evaluate new product proposals, assess ASC 606 implications, and document accounting conclusions.

What You Will Do

Partner with NBO and Revenue Accounting to assess new product and program launches under ASC 606, draft technical memos, and standardize documentation.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of ASC 606
• Experience applying ASC 606 to new or non-standard revenue models
• Excellent technical accounting and technical writing skills
• Ability to structure, organize, and standardize complex documentation
• High attention to detail with the ability to synthesize and communicate complex concepts clearly
• Experience working independently in a documentation- and analysis-heavy environment
• Familiarity navigating large orgs and internal knowledge systems
• Self-starter mindset with resourcefulness, curiosity, and ability to drive projects forward
