Location: Remote — Candidate must be based near a major US Airport.
Comp: $700K+ OTE ($150-$200K Base)

About the Role
As a member of our client's Sales team, you will develop, qualify, and sell their products and services while maintaining sales relationships across the national security sector of the U.S. Federal Government. This role provides the opportunity to make an immediate and measurable impact on revenue growth while contributing to meaningful work that supports national security.
As a dynamic and influential sales professional, you will engage and excite clients, compelling them to work with our client. You possess a natural leadership presence, a successful track record in selling technology to the government (particularly within the national security enterprise), and outstanding business acumen, paired with a deep understanding of the industry and a strong aptitude for technology.
Responsibilities

Own end-to-end new business opportunities, from lead generation to deal closure.

Personally source, shape, and properly qualify new business opportunities.

Manage complex sales cycles from opportunity identification to contract closure across multiple opportunities.

Develop, maintain, and execute account plans for national security clients and prospects.

Present business solutions at the executive level and promote our client's offerings across the Federal/national security marketplace.

Define and present compelling, customized value propositions and demonstrate our client's technology and solutions to prospects and clients.

Use Salesforce to manage all aspects of prospecting, opportunity management, forecasting, client communications, contacts, activities, and tasks.
Requirements
Must-Haves
-
U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelor's degree.
-
Experience closing 7-figure accounts.

5-10+ years of experience working within the national defense/defense technology ecosystem. You MUST have familiarity within the Pentagon and understand on day 1 how to navigate the DoD to find the decision makers you need to persuade to purchase the clients' technology.

3+ years of experience meeting and exceeding revenue goals in a technology sales environment, with a proven ability to close large and complex deals.

Nice-to-Haves

Current possession of a U.S. security clearance or the ability to obtain one with sponsorship.

Experience in or exposure to the nuances of a startup or entrepreneurial environment.

Familiarity with the DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes, especially budgeting, acquisition, and procurement.

Proficiency with Salesforce CRM.
