Software Engineer - Scala - USA/Canada/UK

We are hiring remote Software Engineers with start dates throughout the summer. Candidates must be based in the USA or Canada and able to work Eastern time zone.

The Role Build and maintain backend services and integration layers for distributed, multi-party applications. You'll work in Scala and TypeScript, with daily client interaction as part of a consulting project team.

Required

• 3+ years in functional programming

• Production experience in Scala and/or TypeScript

• Familiarity with Linux, Nix, or NixOS

• Strong fundamentals: data modeling, APIs, testing

• Clear written and verbal communication; comfortable in a remote team

Nice to Have

• Distributed systems, event-driven architecture, or workflow engines

• DAML, smart contracts, or ledger-based systems

• Enterprise or regulated environment experience
