Sr. Python Backend Engineer

The Role:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Backend Software Engineer with deep expertise in Python and Django Rest Framework to join the engineering team driving the development of a market-leading Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) platform. Working closely under the Lead Backend Software Engineer, you will build complex server-side business logic, design high-performance REST APIs, and manage microservices and integrations (such as 3PL logistics and ERP systems) while maintaining strict healthcare security and data privacy standards.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Overall Experience: 5+ years of professional backend software development experience shipping production-grade web applications.

• Python & DRF Mastery: 3+ years of deep, hands-on experience building with Python and Django Rest Framework (DRF).

• AWS Ecosystem: Solid experience working within AWS cloud environments, specifically EC2, RDS, Lambda, and S3.

• APIs & Integrations: Proven track record building RESTful APIs, scalable microservices, and integrating platforms with external systems (logistics, ERPs).

• English Proficiency: Advanced/Fluent English, essential for code reviews, writing technical documentation, and daily team syncs.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with healthcare data privacy and security standards in regulated environments (Healthtech / HIPAA).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and testing frameworks.

• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with operations, fulfillment, and business development teams.
