Technical Project Manager | About You

As a Technical Project Manager, you are responsible for leading cross‑functional technology initiatives from concept through delivery, ensuring projects are well‑planned, well‑executed, and aligned with business objectives. You thrive at the intersection of business and technology, translating complex technical requirements into clear, structured project plans that teams can execute with confidence. You are highly organized, comfortable managing multiple workstreams simultaneously, and confident working with engineers, analysts, architects, and business stakeholders across the organization. Clear communication, proactive risk management, and a strong delivery mindset define your approach to driving projects forward in dynamic environments. You bring structure to ambiguity, anticipate challenges before they arise, and keep teams focused on delivering measurable, high‑quality results.

Technical Project Manager | Day to Day

• Lead end‑to‑end planning and execution of technical projects across data, application, infrastructure, and platform initiatives.
• Partner closely with engineering, product, and business teams to define project scope, timelines, dependencies, resource needs, and success criteria.
  
• Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed project plans, status reports, and risk and issue logs throughout the project lifecycle.
  
• Facilitate stand‑ups, planning sessions, retrospectives, and regular stakeholder updates to ensure alignment and transparency.
  
• Identify and mitigate risks, resolve blockers, and manage change requests while maintaining project momentum and delivery commitments.
  
• Ensure project deliverables meet defined quality standards and align with technical, security, and business requirements.

Technical Project Manager | Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in project or program management within a technical or technology‑driven environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex technical projects using formal project management methodologies.
  
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and modern delivery practices.
  
• Experience working within Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models depending on project needs.
  
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  
• Proven ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and drive projects to successful completion.
