About the ClientOur client is a mission-driven senior care organization based in Minnesota, offering assisted living and customized living services to older adults and individuals with mental health or cognitive support needs. With several years of operation and a growing digital presence, they are looking to strengthen their online platforms to better serve residents, families, and internal staff. As a small, owner-operated business, they value team members who bring both technical reliability and a genuine care for the communities they [link removed] does this role exist?This role exists to give the client a dedicated, hands-on developer who can build and maintain their web presence as the business grows — from public-facing e-commerce functionality to internal tools that support day-to-day operations. The client currently relies on WordPress and SiteGround for their sites and HubSpot for client-facing workflows, and they need someone who can both build new websites and keep existing ones running smoothly, without requiring heavy oversight. Ultimately, this position is about freeing up the client's leadership team to focus on care delivery by ensuring their digital tools are functional, current, and easy to use.
The Impact you’ll make
Website Development
Build new websites on WordPress from initial concept through launch
Set up and configure e-commerce functionality (e.g., WooCommerce) for client-facing sites
Develop internal tools/web pages to support staff and operational workflows
Website Maintenance Updates
Perform regular updates to existing WordPress sites (plugins, themes, core software)
Troubleshoot and resolve site bugs, downtime, or performance issues
Manage hosting-related tasks within SiteGround
E-commerce Support
Maintain and update e-commerce site features, product pages, and checkout flows
Monitor e-commerce functionality to ensure a smooth user experience
Support any integrations tied to online transactions
Systems Integrations
Maintain HubSpot integrations connected to the website (forms, tracking, workflows)
Collaborate with Google Workspace tools for documentation and team coordination
Ensure consistency and functionality across all connected platforms
Design Content Support
Provide light design support for web pages using existing brand assets
Incorporate AI-generated and Canva-created content into site pages
Ensure visual consistency across new and existing pages
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Required:
Proven hands-on experience building and maintaining WordPress websites
Experience with WooCommerce or other WordPress-based e-commerce setups
Familiarity managing sites hosted on SiteGround (or comparable hosting platforms)
Working knowledge of HubSpot (forms, integrations, or workflows)
Strong written and verbal English communication skills for daily collaboration with a US-based client

WordPress development (themes, plugins, custom pages)
WooCommerce / e-commerce site management
HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
SiteGround hosting and site management
HubSpot integration and troubleshooting
Google Workspace proficiency
Comfort working with AI tools and Canva-generated design assets
Soft Skills
Self-starter who can manage tasks with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail, especially with live/production sites
Reliable and consistent, especially given fixed working hours
Proactive communicator who flags issues before they become problems
Comfortable balancing new development work with ongoing maintenance requests
WFH Set-Up:
Computer with at least 8GB RAM, an Intel i5 core processor/AMD Ryzen 5 Processor and up.
Internet speed of at least 40MBPS
Headset with an extended mic that has noise cancellation and a webcam
Back-up computer and internet connection
Quiet, dedicated workspace at home

Working Hours:
40 hours per week
9:00 AM–5:00 PM Central Time, Monday–Friday
Compensation:
$7 per hour
